Ralph by Himself is a story of an elf who struggles with sensory processing issues.  It is the Christmas season and the chaos at the North Pole is too much for this little dude to handle. Before Ralph loses all control, he decides to step away from his duties to calm himself down. While reading letters from children that prefer peace and quiet, Santa discovers that the workshop isn’t a good fit for Ralph. Santa makes accommodations for Ralph and other elves by creating new jobs for those with Sensory Processing Disorder (SPD).
 
Ralph by Himself is a picture book that was first written for young children, but after several reviews it is now intended for people of any age who struggle with Sensory Processing Disorder to help understand and to bring awareness of how sensations disrupt and overwhelm everyday life.
